Llangoed Hall
The original home of the first Welsh parliament, some of the Hall dates from the 17th century. Set in the Upper Wye valley, it is now a luxurious hotel surrounded by wonderful countryside and mountains. Owner Sir Bernard Ashley has re-created the atmosphere of an Edwardian house party.

Ettington Park This house is Victorian with gothic styling. It is set in its own parkland with a 12th century chapel, and is grade 1 listed. The house contains much exotic detail and is most romantic and extremely comfortable. It has been in the same Irish ownership for the last 900 years. This is an ideal location for touring The Cotswolds, Shakespeare's Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick Castle. 4 stars 1 rosette. http://www.handpickedhotels.co.uk/hotels/ettington-park-hotel/ |

Stapleford Park This house is the epitome of Edwardian country opulence with sumptuous public rooms and every bedroom uniquely styled. Owner Peter de Savary is a frequent visitor. The gardens overlook 500 acres of parkland and woods and lake laid out by Capability Brown. Set in the middle of the Leicestershire countryside, Lincoln Cathedral and Castle can be toured in a day from here.
