Charges are per day - not per person.
Single travellers, contact me directly for a special daily rate.
An itinerary is created especially for you, according to your interests and places
you wish to visit. I maintain a large reference of Britain's heritage of places open to
the public to use in preparing an itinerary.
Discuss your requirements with me and within a few days I will submit a detailed
itinerary, places to visit and selected hotels for your approval. I like to take you to
visit historic houses and castles, gardens large and small, cathedrals and churches, and
to travel for part of each day on the back roads through pretty villages and countryside.
Accommodation can be booked to suit
any pocket. Prices for hotels and Bed & Breakfast are much better value in the country
than in London. For a memorable experience I specialise in finding country house hotels with magnificent grounds, surroundings and
scenery, combined with the highest standards of food and service.
You may choose to stay
in one hotel as a base for several nights, or take different hotels along your planned
route.
For sightseeing I
recommend tours of The Cotswolds or The Black Mountains in Wales. I have a full day tour
of London, best taken on a Saturday or Sunday.
Hampton Court Palace is close to my home, and Windsor is a short drive up the Thames, and
there is a full tour of the Thames valley.
Rural Kent and Sussex
is my original home, and there are many historic castles, houses and gardens to visit in
this beautiful countryside, possibly based in Tunbridge Wells.

This is where I receive and reply to
your e-mails in my home. It is also where I do all the planning for your
customised itineraries. I have 5 routing programs, and CD's on days out,
hotels & restaurants, Pubs, B & B's, an atlas, and 2 encyclopaedias.
In addition, I have leaflets on
hundreds of places to visit and 2 comprehensive guide books to them, as
well as my National Trust book. There are hotel and good B & B's books
and guides to hotel chains like Travel Inns for this country and Ibis
hotels in France. For details of the countryside and its towns and
villages there are 12 AA and other reference books.
For each tour I produce an itinerary
booklet for you, and this can be sent to your mailing address if there
is time. It details routes and timings and details of the places we
shall see and stay in. Be sure to bring it with you as it is a working
document as well as your souvenir of your customised tour.
